The business was founded in 1993,and has grown over the years.In April 1999 we were nominated for most innovative business by UK Black Links business directory.Black Dolls Direct is the only multicultural doll supplier in the UK.
When the owner discovered that there were no positive images of dolls for children of colour to play with,he decided to change this. Today, the business has a continued commitment to supply multicultural dolls. Black Dolls Direct continues to be the leader in this niche market. We are a mail order retail business.
The owner/founder would like to express his sincere thanks to all that have helped and supported him during the early years.A special thanks to his mother who believed in his idea,and continues to support the business.Lastly a big thank you to his sister who supplied his first black doll which gave him the idea for the business.
